QUESTION:
Tattoo removal and getting a new tattoo?
Can you do a tattoo removal session in the same week you are getting a new tattoo?-
ANSWER:
Yes, but this may make healing slower as your body has to deal with twice as much going on. Also, I assume that the new tattoo is going in a different spot than the one getting removed? 'Cuz no, you couldn't simply have a tattoo removal session then cover it immediately w/ something else.Tattoo removals (laser) require several sessions and can be painful. SO while ultimately, yes you could do both in a week, I'd recommend staggering your removal and tattoo sessions. It'll make pain and healing much more manageable.

QUESTION:
What tattoo removal products work besides laser surgery?
The real deal stuff if anyone can help me.
stuff like Tatt-Off or Tatt- Be -Gone.
Something other than wrecking balm they want credit cards. I don't own any.-
ANSWER:
They really don't work. As I have often said here, it is my opinion that the idea is to make you spend enough money and get sick of how laborious the process is to just give up on it before you discover it is worthless. At best you get a little lightening but I think that is more because it makes the outer layer of skin more cloudy.

QUESTION:
How long do scabs take to 'naturally' come off?
I've just had laser tattoo removal and scabs have formed. It is SOOOOO ITCHYYY I can't help but pick at it but I know I shouldn't, so i am trying not to - does aloe vera gel help?
However, I want to know how long it takes for the scabs to fall off by itself? It usually gets caught on a piece of clothing or something and gets pulled off doesn't it?
I've had the scabs for about 1 week now... irritating, plus I have to keep it out of the sun, and everyday has been SO sunny...
-
ANSWER:
It depends how big (or deep) the scabs are. Normal ones, like the ones you get from scraping your knee etc., take about a week to come off. Ones from a tattoo removal must be pretty deep, so I'm guessing it would take about 2 1/2 weeks or maybe a little more. I know it's fun to pick them off but the wound will just rip open again and then you'll have to deal with a whole new scab when your body tries to cover it up!! So try to control yourself. Soak a small towel in really ice-cold water and hold it up against the scabs, and that should help.
