Getting a tattoo can be a great experience if you do it properly, but not thinking things through and just getting ink for the heck of it is not the best idea. If you truly want a tattoo you need to do your research like you would with anything and tattoos are no different. I for one being a tattooed person love to encourage non-tattooed people to go out and get inked, if it is something that they truly want to do. I also find great pleasure in being able to educate them on tattooing and things you should be concerned about.
First and foremost DO NOT get inked if you have been drinking. The rule of thumb is not to have any alcohol or drugs in your system when getting tattooed. The reason being it can alter the tattoos appearance and drinking thins your blood which means you will bleed more. Secondly, the sun is not your friend when it comes to getting fresh ink. You must stay out of the sun until your tattoo has fully healed, which usually is about two weeks. Also be 150% sure you want the tattoo design you have picked out. Another huge tip that people tend not to follow is go small. Trust me you don't want to end up like me and 8 years later after getting a tattoo feel it is way too big.
If you have always wanted to get a tattoo for whatever reason. I say what better time than now! Muster up some courage and go to your local tattoo studio and get that ink you have always wanted. But please take the few suggestions above to heart. You honestly have to live with this tattoo decision for the rest of your life.

QUESTION:
Where can I find free printable tattoo flash art online?
I am looking for tattoo flash to print out that doesn't cost anything. I am interested in all art. Are there any good sites out there?-
ANSWER:
There is no such thing, there are sites that will let you preview their art, but they are not going to give it away for free. The best thing to do is to check out what they have to offer at a tattoo parlor. They won't even let you have a copy of any flash they own, because they had to pay for it, and don't want you to take the art to another tattoo artist.
I have two tattoos, and it took me a long time to find the ones I wanted, and even then I had them modify the ones I had done to keep them more personal.
Any tattoo artist will design something for you (for a fee)but that way you will get something that is more personal, and perhaps more meaningful to you.
There are lot of sites that will show the finished product, if you see something you like, print it out and take it with you, you never know...they just might have the same design in their books as well.Good luck!

QUESTION:
How do you make tattoo flash sets?
I recently showed my artwork to a tattoo artist and he really liked my artistic style and told me to come back with flash sets. I know what they are but I don't know how to make them. Any help please?-
ANSWER:
From my experience, this is what works for me.I make my outline sheets by hand, then scan and print out multiple copies. Then I bust out on the color scheme with regular watercolor pencils for a rough draft. Once I;'m content I make an exact copy of my original outline sheet on heavy weight Bristol paper and either use Prizma pencils or watercolor to fill in the linework. I typically offer sets of 5 and 10 (5 is 5 color sheets and 5 linework sheets, and so on.) and label each set as "set 1" and so on. From there, head up to kinkos and make a shitton of copies. keep the originals as master copies for future orders, do NOT laminate them. laminate a few sets and charge more for them. From there, go from shop to shop, haggle on $ and maybe your work will earn its own slot on the wall. Even a website for flash would help as well as a business card.
I prefer to use Inkscape to figure out my color schemes, as it saves me a ton on material expenses.
Designing flash can be expensive, so at least now you're warned.

QUESTION:
Where can I find high quality free tattoo flash designs?
Where can I find high quality tattoo flash designs absolutely for free on the internet? Not a kind of tiny, blur images or repeating images which copied from other websites.-
ANSWER:
I came across this website www.free-tattoo-art-designs.com last month which allows me to download 100+ free tattoo flash. At first I was skeptical that I would just download some ‘trashes’. But amazingly, all the tattoo flash are of high quality. I wonder how the owner of the website would give away something valuable just like that. Those free flash would worth tens of dollars I guess.
